Smiley Boy!

Evan is all smiles unless he is hungry or sleeping or needs to be changed! Today we went to Sturgeon Lake to celebrate Christmas with Evan's Great Aunt Barb and Great Uncle Spence. Denise's cousin Dave and his wife Danielle and their 10 month old baby girl Adrienne were in town from Orlando. It was so nice to finally meet Adrienne! Evan slept during the 2 hour ride up to Sturgeon Lake and back which was nice for Mommy and Daddy! We all missed seeing our cousin Sarah who wasn't able to travel to Sturgeon Lake today.

Here are some recent pictures of Evan! The first picture shows Adrienne saying goodbye to her cousin Evan as he was getting ready to leave.

We're going to Grandpa Bob's Work

Today, Evan met Grandpa Bob at Lion's Tap for one of their famous hamburgers. (Okay, maybe Grandpa Bob, Denise, and Eric had a burger and Evan just had a bottle of milk!). Afterwards, everybody went to Grandpa Bob's work so that Evan could meet Grandpa Bob's coworkers. Here's Evan at work with Grandpa Bob.

Merry Christmas

Well, so far Evan has had a great Christmas. On Sunday, Evan visited his Great Aunt Michelle for a Christmas celebration. On Monday, everybody on Grandma Arnold's side of the family came over and celebrated Christmas at Evan's house. On Christmas day, Evan, Eric, and Denise all went to Grandma Gay and Grandpa Bob's house and had Christmas. Here are a few pictures of the celebration so far (we have one more celebration on Saturday). Eric and Denise did not do such a great job of taking pictures from Christmas Eve. If anybody has any pictures from Christmas Eve, please send them to ericboat@hotmail.com

Ho Ho Ho....Merry Christmas!!

Sunday we took a trip to the Ridgedale Mall, so Evan could visit Santa. As you can see he was not even scared of Santa. We will have to see if he is scared of him next year:-)

Dinner at Granite City

Thanks to Jennie for organizing the dinner at Granite City in Maple Grove on Saturday night. It was nice to see everybody! Does it look like we were all keeping Evan awake?

Daddy Time!

Evan was having some fun on his Baby Einstein Mat while Daddy read to him. AAAAAHHHH HOW SWEET!! We need to get Evan to do more tummy time. He really dislikes being on his tummy.

Night away from Evan

Eric and I would like to thank Grandpa Bob and Grandma Gay for watching Evan overnight on Saturday. We went and stayed downtown and watched the Holidazzle parade(from a skyway, because it was way too cold outside) and went to dinner at Palomino. Evan was good for them, so he has been invited back. Thanks again Bob and Gay.

On Monday Evan turned 8 weeks old. I would like to list the top 5 baby products that I could not live without.

#5 Boppy Pillow.....Helps support your arm when feeding Evan.

#4 Boudreaux's Butt Paste...gets rid of anything red we see on Evan's bottom.

#3 Womb Bear...plays a heart beat(womb sound) for 45 minutes and lulls Evan to sleep.

#2 Fisher Price Rainforest Bouncer...allows us to eat dinner in peace and lets me unload the dishwasher and take a shower.

#1 SwaddleMe Adjustable Infant Fleece Wrap....Keeps Evan swaddled up like a mummy. Swaddled up warm and tight = sleeping Baby Evan:-)

Winter Wonderland

Our first snowstorm of the season! Evan will enjoy the snow next year. We have an awesome sledding hill at a park down the street.

Evan was tired from shoveling snow and fell asleep while watching the Vikings game with Daddy(notice his Vikings outfit). Go Vikings!
