Patent and White Castle
So, how can you top getting a patent with your name on it?????
By having White Castle with your family for dinner to celebrate it.... Oh, and Evan now refers to White Castle as "Sand Castle".

Fun Fun!
Saturday night we went to our friends Chris and Jennie's for dinner. They have a nice porch swing and the boys tried it out!
We stayed out on the boat on Friday and Saturday night. The weather wasn't the greatest, but yesterday it wasn't too bad and the boys were able to play in the sand.
Evan tried to push Alex in the swing. I have to keep warning him about getting out of the way or the swing will hit him.
Evan likes to swing with us. He always says he wants to go in the baby swing but wants to get down right away. He used to love it, so I don't know if it is a confinement thing or what.
Alex can swing forever! He just loves it.
They love to play in the dirt. Evan is fascinated with construction equipment. He always wants to sit in the tractors out at the island.

Monday Evening on the lake
We were in Chicago this past weekend and the weather wasn't boating weather for the past couple weekends, so we took advantage of the beautiful night and went for a cruise on the boat last night. Alex driving the boat upside down? He drives me nuts trying to grab at the key and two way radio, so Eric lifts him upside down. Alex giggles and is enjoying this:-)

Alex has discovered the rubber cover that goes over the stearn light hole. That is what he is holding onto.

Chicago
Eric's cousin is graduating from High School this weekend, so we drove down to Chicago for the party. We stayed at a hotel and the boys had a blast swimming in the pool!
Our little fish! They love the water! Evan is going to start swimming lessons again in June and he is really excited. Can't wait to see him swimming on his own.
Evan kept jumping into the water and I'd catch him. He would say "again..again...again"!
Alex does a Humpty Dumpty like he does at swimming lessons. He leans forward and falls into the water.

Our son didn't make that big mess did he(so embarrassing :-0)? Can't wait until he is out of this stage!

Happy Mother's Day!
Give a 2 1/2 year old a hose and he will be entertained for an hour!
Alex helping us plant flowers and pick weeds and trim shrubs from his pack n play..oh and with a mouth full of crackers! Guess how many crackers I have in my mouth? and a wha wha in one hand and a cracker in the other.

TAH DAH! Flower's in pots. The 4th anniversary gift is flowers, so Eric got me flowers for my pots. Pretty soon it will be warm and the flowers will grow and become beautiful! Evan helped me by pushing dirt around in the pots with his gubs (gloves) on like Mommy.
Afternoon...boys napping. I read the paper and try to stay warm in the sun! Eddie too.
We took the boys to a new park and I took Alex down the slide. My butt fit!
Our baby boy is very close to walking!
After the park we went to the Minnetonka Drive In and then went for a walk!

Happy 4th Anniversary!
Eric and I were married 4 years ago today! The last 4 years have gone by so fast. We started as just a couple and now we have two busy boys. This summer Evan will move to preschool and Alex will move to the toddler room at daycare. Before we know it they will be graduating from high school! We need to remember to slow down and enjoy each day, so the time doesn't fly by so fast:-) Love you Baby!
