| Mom got out these old handheld old school no battery games we had when I was a kid. They usually have a ball or something you need to try to move thru a maze. She said they were mesmerized! |

| The bears were really active Sunday afternoon at the zoo. I think the last 3 times we've been to the zoo they were 3 sleeping lumps! This one was swimming and giving a show to the people behind the glass. |

| Just as I walked away from the glass the other two bears came from around the corner. |

| How many kids can you get to stand in front of a giraffe sign without someone passing in front of you!? |

| About a month ago I got an e-mail from the zoo that they were going to be shutting down the monorail after labor day. It was a pre-owned system and is outdated and the company who built it is out of business and they don't want to invest the money into a new monorail. We had never taken the monorail, but the boys love watching it when it passes by! I thought we needed to get out to the zoo and ride it before it's gone. |

| We had to wait quite a while to get on the monorail, but the kids did good waiting. |

| We found that you can watch people better from the monorail than animals. The system was built before the bears were around, so you don't even get close to seeing them. |

| This picture is missing Jack who didn't want to get out of the stroller and Colin who is too small to be in the picture. It was fun to have everyone at the zoo. After the zoo we invaded iHop to get some dinner! I think that rookie server we got was about ready to freak when he saw the 16 of us arrive for dinner:-) |

| Welcome to Duluth! On our way home from the cabin we headed to Duluth to spend the afternoon. |

| Crossing the bridge. We got half way across and they made an announcement that the bridge would be rising. We had to get across quick and then got to watch it rise from the other side. |

| We got to watch one ship depart and two ships arrive in the couple hours we were in Duluth. It was fun to see so much activity! We watched them from three different places. |

| This up high view was nice. When this ship came in it blew the horn when it got pretty close and scared the kids. |
