We had a wonderful 3 day weekend. Eric was happy that we got to stay two nights out on the boat!! Back to work tomorrow:-(

Evan swings out at the Island

Last weekend we stayed out at the island. Evan did really well sleeping on the boat. It got a little chilly during the night, so we bundled him up. We even had a visitor on board during the night! A raccoon came on board and ate a bag of licorice(there was about 10 strings left...I bet he got a bad tummy ache) and a few crumbs of potato chips Eric left up top. Eric heard something during the night and thought it was rain, but it wasn't constant, so he went up top and scared him off to shore. He said the raccoon stood up on the shore and looked back at him almost like he was laughing at Eric .....HAA HAA! Evan went on his first swing ride and really enjoyed it. He liked it so much he got the hiccups:-)

The other night I noticed some extra legs out by the bird feeder. A deer came by to get a snack!

Happy Mother's Day!

This morning we did a 5k for the race for the cure. We started about 9:15 and the race started at 9:00 and look how many people were behind us! There were A LOT of people.

It was a beautiful morning for the race. The rain cleared out just in time!! After the race we came home and Bob, Gay, Michelle and Great Grandma came over for a barbeque. It was a great day!

Evan's first boat ride

Tonight we took Evan out for his first boat ride. It will help when he's moving around better. I had to hold him the whole time and try to keep his life vest out of his chin. It was a beautiful evening! We forgot the camera, so Eric took these pics with my phone.

Spring is here!

Tonight it was finally a nice night after work and we were able to take Evan for a walk. He got to try out his stroller "Big Boy Style"!! Usually he is in his carrier where he doesn't really get a good view. He's getting some practice in for the Race For the Cure we are doing on Sunday!

Happy Anniversary!

Today is our 2nd wedding anniversary! The the past two years have gone by so fast. We would like to thank all of our family and friends for helping to make this day so special! I've posted some pictures to look back on that very wonderful day!

Evan decides to audition for American Idol

Evan has started talking to himself. Of course, he's not using words yet, but he's been holding conversations with himself for almost a half an hour. Sometimes, it even sounds like he's singing. Below is an example of him singing. Perhaps he'll be the new American Idol???
