Ho Ho Ho! Merry Christmas!!

Somebody at Daycare brought in this Santa's Helper Suit as a donation and they gave it to Evan. It is a little big for him, so I think it might fit him better next year(hopefully it won't be too small). He was a good sport and put it on for us today. He almost fell over a couple times, because it was so big.

Evan got this grocery cart for Christmas and enjoys pushing it around the house. He took a couple steps by himself over the Christmas break, so we think he will be walking on his own very soon.
He also got some Balloons for Christmas and loves to play with them. I attached a stuffed animal to the bottom, so he can easily lift them up and down.
Yesterday we visited my Aunt and Uncles house to celebrate Christmas. We got another shot of the three cousins. They have changed even since last month. Ada does a great job of holding onto Evan, so he doesn't take off! Next time Olen will be the one on the run:-)

Merry Christmas!

Evan received the "Hokey Pokey" Elmo for Christmas from Santa. He was very excited and had fun watching him do his dance.

Evan hasn't really gotten into opening his presents, so these presents were safe from Evan trying to open them:-)

He enjoys trying to climb under the dining table chairs, but he gets stuck and needs help getting out.

Evan has become attached to this blanket and wanted to put it on his walker as he was pusing it down the hall.

Our Baby is back!

The last couple weeks Evan hasn't been feeling very well. He had a cough and high fever. Last Friday I brought him into the Doctor and he got some medicine to help him feel better. Both Eric and I feel like our Evan is back. He was a different kid and we weren't sure if it was just a phase, but we are so glad to have him back! Last night after dinner he was feeling really tired and wanted Mommy. He got his second wind a few minutes later and was on the move again.
Daycare let us borrow this pooh walker for the weekend. Evan likes to walk with it at daycare and he used it a lot this weekend. He is very close to walking on his own. He can steer the walker around corners and furniture. He looks just like an old person when he's using the walker.
Sunday we went up to visit Eric's Grandma. Evan is usually on the move, so it is rare for him to sit long enough on someones lap for a picture.

Evan loves to open and close doors. When he shuts them he grabs onto the door stopper to close it.
Sleepy Baby Evan!
More on the move with the walker in his room!
Eric gave him funny hair and then we showed him what he looked like in a little mirror! I think he likes his new hair do:-)

Static cling made his dry hair stand up ..again more funny hair!
We got some new appliances and of course Evan loved to go into the box and hide!

Happy Thanksgiving!

We spent Thanksgiving up at my Aunt Barb and Uncle Spence's. We had excellent food and a wonderful day. This was the best picture we could get of Evan for the day. He always seems to look the other direction lately when the camera comes out. We stopped at Eric's Aunt Michelle's on the way home and visited with some of Eric's family. We forgot the camera, so we have no pictures. Thanks everyone for sharing your pictures from Thursday.

Evan's Growing Up Fast

Evan's growing up so fast. In the past month, he started standing up on his own, walking along furniture, and now he's walking behind his rolling toys. They always told us that it would fly by and in the words of Ferris Bueller, “lifes moves pretty fast and if you don't stop to look around once in a while, you could miss it." So, we try to take as many pictures and video as we can along the way. Here's some of life's most recent "Evan Moments".

Mommy can't drink. So, she mixes lemon and lime juice with water and calls it a Margarita.
Just another inch or two and I'll make it up there.

I'm tired!

And last, but not least, Evan's new LED snowman on the deck

More Evan

Evan is so proud that he can dump over his clothes basket and spread the clothes all over the floor.
He will sit there for 30 minutes just moving the clothes around on the floor.

Not only does he like to put this bag/toy mat on his head he also likes to sit in it.
Tonight Evan and I went down to visit our friend Mindy. Evan had fun climbing and drooling on her couch and playing with her dog Allie.
Her dog Allie kept giving Evan lots of kisses! He wasn't really sure if he liked it or not.

Halloween and more Evan

We went to Chris and Jennie's for a Halloween party last night. Eric dressed as Paulie Bleeker and I dresses as Juno. Evan came to the party for a little while and then grandma and grandpa came to take him for the night.
