Christmas Eve
Evan does some coloring on Christmas Eve before grandma and grandma come over. Evan is ready with his Santa suit. Unfortunately the other "kid cousins" had the flu so Evan and Alex were the only kids. Santa has put on some weight!

Holiday fun
Friday Evan dressed up as Santa's helper and everyone loved it! He made a hat with the leftover wrapping paper scraps. Yesterday we went to Costco to get some things for Christmas and took a Selfie while eating our pizza. We stopped at party city and he got an elf hat. We texted a picture home and Alex wanted one too. Evan loves the Old Navy Dog so he wanted a pic with him. We went to play it again sports and got a couple sticks. Alex broke one last week. This morning Evan used the old wrapping paper rolls to make a rocket!

Winter has arrived!
Let there be light! Eric got some lights to light up the ice so we can skate at night.
We have a little net and the boys like hitting the puck around!
Evan has been practicing his skating skills!
Alex wears his boots like me and still falls down sometimes!
It was about 1 degree when we were out! BRRRR!
When Alex and I headed back to the car it was darker so the train really lit up beautiful. I was freezing and carrying him, so I didn't get a picture.
Eric and Evan hung out until Santa came out to say goodbye and watch the train leave. Alex and I were nice and warm in the car!
Last weekend we made our first trek across the channel over to go sledding.
Evan still enjoys looking for the elf every morning.
Alex hangs like a monkey from the bars in Evan's room
After we came in from the ice last night the boys went out to the hot tub. They posed for some pictures before they went out to freeze:-)

Happy Thanksgiving
We had a nice Thanksgiving up in Sturgeon Lake. The kids are getting so big! We don't really have to coax them anymore for the couch picture:-). On our way home we drove down Nicollet Mall which only opens on thanksgiving to cars otherwise its just buses. The boys draped their blankets over the barstools like a rent. Alex and I bought this gingerbread house at Costco last month and the boys have been asking daily when they could make it. First thing Friday it was done! I finally ordered Evan a new Santa suit since he's been wearing since he was two and it was getting tight. He really enjoys dressing up like Santa! Our neighbors had a party and he wore it there. Our Elf Clyde returned to watch over the boys and finds a new place to land each morning! The boys practice some selfies with my phone and show off some crazy hair. They had some silly times at swimming tonight!
