More Vacation Pictures!

At our resort they let the kids roast marshmallows around a campfire on the beach.  Their marshmallows got a little burnt and they were a little messy, but the kids didn't mess up their clothes before dinner.

I love this hot air balloon that gives rides at Downtown Disney.  We didn't go for a ride, but it is fun to watch it go up and down.

Alex chilling by the pool after a long day of swimming.

Dave and Danielle and the girls live not far from Orlando, so they came by for a swim!  It was great to see them!

We had a nice fountain at our resort.

Tired boy!  Long and fun days!  Tuesday when it was time to come home he kept asking why we had to go home?  He always asks when he wakes up in the morning if it's "A Stay Home Day".  I'm not sure if vacation is a Stay Home Day..because you don't have to go to work or school, but you have fun!

We Love Water!

Check out the two boys with blue shirts and goggles under that big bucket!  This fun pirate ship was in the kiddie section of the pool and the kids had fun splashing in this area.  As the bucket got full a bell would ding to notify the kids that it was about to dump on them!  This was taken on Wednesday right after we arrived at the resort.   The boys changed right way so they could go to the pool.  The pool had two water slides the the kids swam nearly every day we were there.

More Vacation fun!

Magic Kingdom!

I had a work conference in Orlando and the boys flew down after I was done to visit Walt Disney World!  Alex was flying on an airplane for the first time.  They were very excited!

Entering the Magic Kingdom!

At Downtown Disney Alex loves to go to Legoland where they let you race vehicles!

Yeah Alex!

We had dinner at the Rainforest Cafe and sat with the Elephants one night and the Gorillas another night.  The boys loved the thunderstorm and when the animals got active.

Taking the Magical Motor coach to Magic Kingdom!

See the castle?  YIPPEE!

We had to ride the carousel.  No pig for Alex..Only horses on this one:-)

Crazy Driver Evan!  He loved the race cars!

Misters keep you cool on a hot day!

Alex enjoyed the race cars too!

Waiting in line for the train!

We love each other!

Trains are the best!  This train does a loop around the park so it got us from place to place trying to use our fast passes to avoid waiting in lines.  Eric installed an app on his phone that indicated wait times which was also very helpful!

Multiple trains run at the same time, so we didn't have to wait long!

We had dinner at the Crystal Palace with Pooh, Tiger, Piglet and Eeyore!.  I think Alex is tickling piglet in the armpit:-)

We went to Epcot to see the fireworks one night!

Waiting in line for the Barnstormer!  This is Goofy's roller coaster and the boys really enjoyed it!  It is one of the newer rides at Magic Kingdom.

Hydrating!

Swimming lessons

Tonight the boys posed for a picture before jumping into the water! It feels like the tropics there which is a nice break from this never ending winter. Evan is learning at school that April rain brings May flowers...humm. Maybe June flowers at this rate.

Ben and Jerry's and other fun stuff!

Today was free ice cream cone day at Ben and Jerry's.  I surprised the boys and picked them up from school and we went right to have ice cream.  We met our friends Sophie and Jack and enjoyed some yummy ice cream!  Too bad it wasn't a beautiful day to eat outside:-(

It is nice that it is light out after dinner, so we can get out on the trail for some bike time.

Alex was home sick a couple days last week and we headed out to the park at lunch time for some fresh air.  You can see it is still pretty chilly wearing his hat and mittens.

He was feeling a little better and we were chilling on the couch together.  He wants you to know he's 4!

Last weekend Eric and Evan decided to wash some windows.  Last year with the dirt road we never bothered to clean them, so it is nice to have some clean windows.

Evan tries out his new bike.  He was always way in front of us, so I didn't get a close picture.  Alex's bike is a lot smaller, so he's always peddling his little legs to try and keep up.  Hopefully Evan will be ready to go without training wheels pretty soon!
Self portrait!

Crazy hair after taking off his hat!

Still a lot of snow in the front yard, so Eric shovels some in the driveway to try and get it to melt!  We are supposed to get a bunch more snow, so we'll see how long that lasts!  The buds are trying to pop out on my magnolia tree that was blooming last year on March 30th.

The kids have had their boots for a couple of seasons, so it's time to get a bigger size.  I saw Fleet Farm had them on sale this week, so we stopped last night after swimming and they each picked the fireman boots.
