Chuck E Cheeses

Tonight we went on our annual trip to Chuck E Cheeses for Evan's Birthday! We walked by the Wheel A Fortune game and tickets were pouring out of it! We ended up with almost 900 tickets from our game play! Evan picked a huge pen and Alex picked a slinky and rocket launcher!

Having fun

Evan got a gift card to Toys R Us for his birthday and it was burning a hole in his pocket so Eric took him there on Sunday. He picked out this Super Emergency Playset with 50 pieces! Oh what fun! He had some money left on the card so he shared and Alex got a tower crane with lots of screws and bolts(right up his alley). We got him some play money. Alex got him a disco ball from Home Depot. Eric hasn't shaved for a few days and Alex tells him it's time to get the bugs off his face! He calls the whiskers bugs:-). Today school is out for MEA and Evan got to go on a field trip and get his face painted like Spider-Man!

Big Kid turns 6!

Happy Birthday to Evan! Tonight at Culver's was Family Night so the boys got arm paints and balloons.Evan got fireworks and a sword and Alex got a belt and sword. Miss Diane created some wonderful art on their arms!

Last beautiful Fall day?

Yesterday might have been the last fabulous day of Fall, so we got out to enjoy it. I started the day with a run and took these pictures. Eric took the boys to Toys R Us so Evan could pick out something with the gift card he got for his birthday. I got the hammock out of the attic and enjoyed a few minutes of peace before the neighbor started up his leaf blower:-(. A few minutes later the kids found me and there wasn't much relaxation after that! The boys built a ramp for the trucks to drive out of the sandbox. After Eric watched enough of the Vikings lose we headed out for what might be our last boat ride of the season. Eric had to put down the canvas and let Evan drive the boat for a minute. You can't see the front of his face but you can see the pure JOY he is feeling from his expression. Soak it up while we can it might be snowing tomorrow!

Jumpy house for Evan's birthday

Saturday we had Evan's birthday party. It was a little chilly but we had a lot of fun! After the party we all jumped together.

First tooth fell out

Today Evan was eating an apple and his tooth came out. The new one was poking thru already! His friend at school told him his Dad is the tooth fairy so he'd tell him that Evan lost a tooth today! He was so EXCITED! A little worried how his friends dad will get into our house to get his tooth and also what does he do with all those teeth?

Fun Fun!

Friday was homecoming and Eric took the boys to the parade and then we all went to the game. We stayed until halftime and it started pouring rain as we walked back to the car. Saturday I took the boys to the ECFE fundraiser strollathon. They moved the event mostly inside but moved some things outside because the weather got nice. Alex took a picture with captain America. They took a pic with Elmo! The boys were playing a Curious George game where you wear masks, so I had to take their picture. Alex hasn't been feeling well and I took him in today and he has a double ear infection. He has had a fever too which typically doesn't go along with an ear infection. We were waiting in line for the prescription at Walgreens. It took almost an hour by the time we dropped it off until we left so I'm thankful we now have a drive-thru, so I don't have to try to entertain him while waiting in the store.
