Happy New Year!

Since we weren't with the kids last night we took these traditional pictures with our New Years decorations!  We did a hot tub after the picture, so that is why the boys are in their swim suits!

Monday night we went to Maynard's for dinner and watched the snow fall while wishing we were sitting on the Wharf and it was 75 degrees instead of below zero!

Three days at Grandma and Grandpa's

Sunday Mom and Dad took Evan and Alex for 3 nights.  On Tuesday Mom sent some pictures to show that they were keeping the boys busy!  They love bells(and anything that makes noise)

The set up an elaborate train track with bridges!

Grandpa let them drive the trains.  They each have a train!

They even made pierogies and ate them along with the stuffing(potatoes and cheese)!

We picked them up today and back to school tomorrow!

Opening Presents Christmas Eve!

The boys got some trains!

Eric and Greg got the same tool set.

Christmas Eve Family dinner photo.  We were missing Cousins Andrea, Marty and their girls Eva and Chloe who were at home sick.  These are cousins and siblings of my Mom.

Christmas at Barb and Spences

Sunday we celebrated Christmas at my Aunt and Uncles house.  At Christmas Mom found that Greg and I had given Mom and Dad the same Parents Christmas card!  What are the chances:-)

Open presents is CHAOS time!

We took a nice group photo!

Silly photo for the kids:-)

New Kids On the Couch Picture(they don't change much since Thanksgiving)

The temps were below zero outside so the kids only lasted about 15 minutes outside.  They spent time playing with Barb's stash of toys.

Rena is getting so big!  She's almost 3 and so cute!

Evan with a Lincoln Logs tin hat!

The Vikings game was over and the kids were excited to watch a little cartoons!

Evan as Santa

Evan was thrilled when his teacher said he could wear his Santa suit the last day before Christmas break.  Kids walked up to him and said he wasn't Santa, because he was too skinny.  He loved dressing up as Santa and didn't let it bother him.
I have to post this flashback picture from 2009 when Evan was 2 years old and I had to force him to dress up like Santa.  Thank goodness he doesn't cry and loves to dress as Santa.

Merry Christmas

Alex was really excited to get one of his favorite books "I Love My New Toy" on Christmas morning.

We got Eric a speaker that can play music from his phone when he's near water(like the hot tub)

Evan checks to see if the reindeer ate the food they left out on Christmas Eve!  Yep it was gone;-)

The boys got walkie talkies for Christmas.  These will come in handy at the island and here at home.

Alex got the Rainbow Loom he wanted for Christmas.  He isn't quite old enough, but can do it with some help.  Evan was learning to do it.

A new Tonka bulldozer!

Wii Dance Party "live" instead of watching it via YouTube!

He asked for these weekly when we saw them for sale at swimming lessons.  Now we need the ice to go away...FAST!

Had fun again with the Lego Advent calendar this year.  Lots of really fun pieces!

I finished another cork board for the kitchen.  If you have any extra corks I'll gladly take them!

Lord Fletcher's has this AWESOME gingerbread house scenery that the boys loved watching.

Santa decided to stuff himself a bit!
