Dilly Bars to celebrate the season!

One game left for the Pirates! They have had a great time playing this season and have really improved in the past few weeks. They can hit from a pitch instead of a T and know which way to run and were to throw the ball. In their league everyone gets on base and runs the bases to run home and there are no strikeouts. I know it will not be this way forever so it is fun to not keep score and just enjoy the game! How many times will I have to wash Alex's pants this time?:-) usually 3 times in the washer is the usual!

A few pics from the HopeKids event and a few others

We saw these sailboats on our way back to the island for HopeKids

Families eating in the pavilion.

The fire dept brought over the fireboat with a water canon for the kids to spray!

Prizes for our scavenger hunt!  The kids love that activity!

This is the family we shared our boat with for the afternoon!  Kiera was a sweetheart and she brought along her Mom, Grandma and Grandpa!

We spotted the Tonka Paparazzi on our way back to the island.  This guy will take your picture and you can go online and purchase it.  We aren't cool enough for him to take our picture:-)

Volunteers meet up after the event to relax and share stories of the day!

Ahhhh relaxing!

Many local authorities helped us to mark the perimeter during the airshow to keep everyone safe.

These guys dropped from a plane with  parachutes and landed on the ground in Excelsior.  It was really cool.  Of course they look like ants in the picture:-)

4th of July and other activities!

4th of July was really windy, so we didn't wear these hats too long or they would blow away!

Alex having some downtime in the cabin with George!
We held the perimeter for the airshow on the lake before the fireworks show, so Eric got a special vest to wear.
This statue is at The Depot in Wayzata
Love this picture of Alex and Eric!
We came back from the boat Saturday evening and Evan wanted to set up Croquet.
4th of July we held the perimeter for the airshow that took place outside Excelsior prior to the fireworks show!  They put on quite a show.

Eric making sure boats are staying outside the buoys that were set by the yacht club.

After the airshow we headed back to the island and saw this cool sunset!

And this huge Vikings fan!  I wonder what would happen if you brought this pontoon to Green Bay!??

Saturday we headed to Wayzata and got to see them run two trains.

The Minnehaha was giving some rides!

Eric's Birthday!

Today is Eric's Birthday!  We came back from 3 nights on the boat for a night at home, so we had some cinnamon rolls and sausage for breakfast!

We decided to head over to the "Sandy Side" of Big Island and tie up next to some friends we know from the Power Squadron.  They have one of these awesome lily pads that are a blast to play on.  The boys would really love to get one of these, but they are very expensive and they take up a lot of room when rolled up.  We don't really have room for one of them on our boat.

One feet up and one feet down!  They are tired!

We made brownie cookie and put some candles in it and sang Happy Birthday to Eric!
