October Fun!

White Hawks had an awesome season this  year!  We had fun at the Homecoming game!

I ran the Twin Cities 10 Mile!  It was a beautiful day for a run!

After the race finished it was hard to get out of the race village after I picked up my t-shirt. 

I changed Alex's room around and gave him some more space to play.  He is really resistant to change, but he likes it!

I took Sabrina and the boys to Minnetonka Apple Orchards after school one night

We found this pumpkin by the apple donut stand.  He has donuts on his face!

We had the Hayride to ourselves on a Tuesday night.  He gave us a couple rides on trails less traveled.

Last day at the island...sad another season has come to an end.

Evan's birthday was during MEA so I took the day off and we went to MOA to ride rides at Nickelodeon Universe!

September happenings!

In September the kids had an open house before school started.  They also had school photos that day, so I made them dress up and take some pictures for my frame to go along with their school pictures.  We got some nice and silly photos!  You can feel the LOVE! 

The next night we took the boys to Canterbury Downs to watch some horses race!  It is $1.00 night.  Of course Eric did some fancy betting and came out ahead for the night!

The steam operator let them control the speed of the boat! It was pretty cool!

Studying up about the Minnehaha!  This boat was once sunk at the bottom of Lake Minnetonka, because the old steamboats weren't needed anymore.  There are still some at the bottom of the lake.  It gives cruises during the summer from Excelsior to Wayzata. 

ahhhhh!  Sweet!  She is in 4th grade and he's in 2nd grade.  Next year they won't be at the same school and I'm sad for when these moments don't happen anymore!

Chili Cook-off at the Island!  We tied for 3rd place with our white chicken chili!

It's kind of a BIG DEAL!  16 different chili's!

We met some friends at Como Zoo and had bought passes for Como town!  I didn't realize they had so many rides.  The kids had a blast!

Kwo Ue went a couple times on the tilt a whirl!  I was glad I didn't have to chaperone them!
