Tummy Time's Over Rated

Evan has now decided that "Tummy Time" is over rated. As such, he's figured out how to flip from his stomach to his back without any help. It all started about a week ago. Mommy and Daddy had Evan on his tummy on his mat. Mommy and Daddy were in the kitchen talking. When they turned around, he was on his back. Mommy thought Daddy was playing a trick on her. However, Daddy wasn't up to his usual tricks. So, he put Evan back on his tummy and within a few seconds, he was on this back again. So, here's a peak at Evan's new trick.

Evan starts solid food

Evan doesn't act like this too often, so we had to take a picture...because his onesie was too fitting. This was early in the morning and he was HUNGRY!

This weekend we started Evan on solids. I'm not sure if more of the rice cereal came out of his mouth or went down. I'm sure he'll be chowing down food in no time.

Easter Part Deux

Today we headed up to my Aunt Barb and Uncle Spences to celebrate Easter. We got to meet our new Cousin Olen.

Me holding Olen who is just 5 weeks old. It is hard to remember when Evan was this small.

Uncle Greg looks pretty comfortable holding Evan for the first time!

Evan is looking pretty comforable with Grandpa Dewey!

Great Uncle Dewey holding Olen along with Eric and Evan.

We went out for a walk and when we returned the Easter bunny had hidden some eggs. We had fun watching Ada search for the eggs. Next year Ada won't be the only one looking for eggs.

Evan and Ada prepare for a kid group photo.

How come Olen is the only one looking at the camera? This scene was like the paparazzi with everyone who had a camera taking a photo.

"Boys...check out my cool fancy purse I got from Great Aunt Shirley". "I just love my new purse"!

It looked cute in Vegas!

I found the perfect onesie for Evan in Vegas. It says..."I drink until I PASS OUT...Las Vegas". The only size I could find was 16 months(evan is just 5 months old) I put it on him last night and as you can see it is way too small. The body portion is not long enough. I need to find some of those extenders for the snaps. He cannot even wear it, because we think it looks like a wife beater shirt. Way too much of his chest is showing. If you are unsure of what a wife beater is see definition below.
wife beater (noun) 1. tank-style underwear shirts. Origin: based on the stereotype that physically abusive husbands wear that particular style of undershirt.

Happy Easter

We celebrated Easter on Sunday at Grandma Gay and Grandpa Bob's house. Grandma Shirley, Grandpa Dewey, Great Grandma Martha, Great Aunt Michelle, Great Uncle Phil and Uncle Greg were there too. Evan got to have his very first Easter egg hunt with help from Mommy and Daddy. Evan was dressed in his Easter best outfit! Friends Shannon and Howie gave him this outfit when he was born. Here are some pictures from our day!
