More of Evan's Birthday at Chuck E Cheese's

Evan took a little nap on the way to Chuck E Cheese, so he was a little overwhelmed when we first arrived. I had to work until 6:00, so it was after 6:30 by the time we got there and Evan's bedtime has been around 7:00 lately, so he was a little tired! We told him that someday he will beg us to take him to Chuck E Cheese. He enjoyed watching the other kids.

Happy Birthday Evan!!

We would like to wish Evan a Happy 1st Birthday! We woke him up this morning singing "Happy Birthday" and got it on video. He was just smiling. I think we are going to go to Chuck E Cheese tonight, so we might have more pictures later. Grandma Gay got him this Elmo shirt to wear on his Birthday. When we brought him to day-care this morning Katelyn smiled and pointed to Elmo on his shirt.

Evan

It has been awhile since I posted some new Evan pictures. Here are some new pictures to show what he has been doing lately!
Evan enjoys pushing his rocking chair around.
He likes to empty the clothes out of his laundry basket and climb inside.
Where is Evan?
Here I am!
Evan found his clothes spinning around in the dryer!

Evan is a busy boy. He works hard pushing a bar stool around the kitchen.

He tries to open the cupboards
He is climbing out of the bottom of his ExerSaucer
Evan's Great Aunt Stephany was in town over the weekend, so she gave Evan his first birthday present. He got the Fisher Price Little People Racin' Ramps Garage. He was almost more excited by the box it came in than the actual gift:-)
Are all these pieces really going to make a parking garage Daddy?
Taaadaaa Parking garage!!!
Thank You Stephany, Scott and Megan for my first Little People Racin' Ramps Garage!
I enjoy pushing the garage around to see what I can run into! The garage comes to the car.

When I was a little girl this was my parking ramp and these are what little people looked like(They have a lot more detail these days). They didn't have cell phones and the tow truck didn't make noise when you pushed on him. Mom these are going for $50.00 on ebay. Do you still have mine(I know you do:-)? Eric said he didn't have one, but remembered playing with one at daycare!

More from NYC

view of the Statue of Liberty from the Staten Island Ferry

We decided to see the Empire State Building at night. I took this picture as we were walking toward it. Can you spot the blimp in this picture?

Some beautiful views from the top of the Empire State Building

The net you can see is for a driving range that was out on a pier. Eric was impressed by the boat

I was fascinated by their parking ramps. Instead of a ramp they lift them up and park them on top of each other
Flatiron building
Everything in New York is big. Check out this billboard!

We found Homer Simpson in China Town

At Rockefeller Center the skating rink becomes a restaurant in the summer

We didn't realize Lady Liberty was going to charge us $3.00 for a picture, so this was the best picture we could get for free!

This is an Apple Store that is underground
FAO Schwarz candy
Trump Tower

Beautiful Bethesda fountain in Central Park(Eric googled the fountain from the TV show Friends and that fountain was located in Hollywood California).

We got tickets to see Mamma Mia and sat in the 5th row. We really loved the show!
We had dinner at Tavern On The Green. There was a wedding reception going on while we were having dinner. We were looking for celebrities, but we didn't see any:-(

We went to the Hershey store and wanted to buy everything, but we were too afraid it would melt, so we didn't buy anything. This was an actual candy bar that weighed about 10 lbs. The syrup was a bank.

Our last day in New York we visited the Brooklyn Bridge. They have a nice walking path that goes between the lanes of traffic.
There were some workers inspecting the bridge. I wouldn't want that job!

You can see the Staten Island Ferry and the Status of Liberty from the Brookyn Bridge.
This was probably the only famous person we saw in New York and we don't even know who she is. She is a model that was getting her photo taken on the bridge with the city in the background.
We happened upon this interesting museum that seemed to be attracting some attention from people passing by.
