Evan tries out his new horse!

Evan got this horse from his Grandma Gay and Grandpa Bob for Christmas. We've had it down in the family room downstairs and today we brought it up for him to ride. He got on it a lot easier now than last month. I'll have to get a video if it later this week, because it is really cute. He can ride the horse and bounces up and down and it spins around. It also works with the TV to help him learn to count, but he is not quite ready for that yet. It plays "Old McDonald had a farm" and I think I can still hear that song in my head:-)

An Evening with Evan

There's Laundry to be done!
Lego's to play with!

Stories to be read!

Balls to be thrown!

&
Hats to try on!

Evan is walking really well now. Sometimes he talks a lot, but we don't know what he is saying. He moved into his new bedroom last Thursday night. He has been waking up earlier than normal, so we hope he is just getting used to his new room. With swimming lessons last night he was up until 8:00 and woke up at 5:20 this morning.
Evan will bring you a book to read to him and sit down in your lap. 3 pages into the book and he is getting down to grab another book for you to read. His favorite book right now is "I've been working on the Railroad" that he got from Chris and Jennie for Christmas. The book is shaped like a train and has wheels, so he likes to play with the wheels and silver rivets that hold them on. You can put the book down and two minutes later he'll want you to read it again.

Can I come in?

I don't think it will be long before I will have no privacy in the bathroom!

Evan is back in the pool again!

Last night Evan started swimming lessons again. He was very excited when he saw the pool and couldn't wait to get in the water. He just needs to learn how to kick again. There were 4 other little boys in his class. He had no problem going under water and is very excited to go back next week!

Evan enjoys pulling the towels off the front of our new oven, so he can see his reflection in the glass:-)

Happy New Year!

We celebrated New Years Eve at home with some friends! I can't believe 2009 is here already. We wish everyone a happy and prosperous 2009!

Charlie's Devils?
I think she needs another...bartender?

Tyler is trying to get rid of his hiccups. I'm not sure if that was working for him.

Ho Ho Ho! Merry Christmas!!

Somebody at Daycare brought in this Santa's Helper Suit as a donation and they gave it to Evan. It is a little big for him, so I think it might fit him better next year(hopefully it won't be too small). He was a good sport and put it on for us today. He almost fell over a couple times, because it was so big.

Evan got this grocery cart for Christmas and enjoys pushing it around the house. He took a couple steps by himself over the Christmas break, so we think he will be walking on his own very soon.
He also got some Balloons for Christmas and loves to play with them. I attached a stuffed animal to the bottom, so he can easily lift them up and down.
Yesterday we visited my Aunt and Uncles house to celebrate Christmas. We got another shot of the three cousins. They have changed even since last month. Ada does a great job of holding onto Evan, so he doesn't take off! Next time Olen will be the one on the run:-)

Merry Christmas!

Evan received the "Hokey Pokey" Elmo for Christmas from Santa. He was very excited and had fun watching him do his dance.

Evan hasn't really gotten into opening his presents, so these presents were safe from Evan trying to open them:-)

He enjoys trying to climb under the dining table chairs, but he gets stuck and needs help getting out.

Evan has become attached to this blanket and wanted to put it on his walker as he was pusing it down the hall.
