Chuck E Cheese's
On my way to Chuck E Cheese's with my Birthday crown.

For those of you who have never been to Chuck E Cheese's you are probably wondering what goes on there? Well there is pizza, but Alex has little interest in that! You can climb up real high and get away from your parents.

You can ride some rides!

You can play skee ball! I'm not quite strong enough to throw the balls, so Grandma helps me score some points and get a few tickets.

You can go down a fun slide!

You can pretend play with a video game that has a steering wheel and pretend shifter!

You can climb through a tube up near the ceiling!

You can see Chuck E Cheese!

You get home and PASS OUT from all that FUN!

We have taken the boys to Chuck E Cheese's on their real birthday since they turned 1. Last year Evan's birthday fell on a Friday ...it was much better going to Chuck E Cheese's on a Thursday than a Friday. If their birthday is on a Saturday we may have to go another day! Too crazy! Evan's daycare teacher told us she can't even stand to go to Chuck E Cheese's...and she works with kids all day. She did admit she has only been there on weekends. Big party tomorrow...more pictures to come! Hopefully he'll smile with some gifts:-)

"Big Boy" Bed for Alex
This morning Bob and Eric put together Alex's big boy bed. We surprised the boys when they got home. They moved Evan's bed into Alex's room and Evan got the bed we have been storing downstairs.

Alex wasn't sure what to think when we showed him his new bed. He kept saying "New Bed" and he was naming all his animals on his bed and hugging them. He looks pretty happy!

Big brother Evan needs to check out the bed too! They look like twins.

Smile for the camera Alex..."CHEESE"!

All ready for bed! Goodnight Alex!

Evan checking out his bed with no rails!

Bye Bye crib and changing table!

Snow and keeping busy
This is the snow pile between our driveway and our neighbors. The weather people are talking more snow. Where are we going to put it? Eric saw our neighbor last night and said he felt like Tim the tool man talking over the fence(snowpile)to Wilson.

Evan is keeping busy with a puzzle. He is learning how to put it together with help from Mommy.

Alex tried out some underwear the other night. He wouldn't pose for a picture, so this is what you see:-)

My page-a-day calendar this year is Origami. My co-worker Nancy has been having fun making them. This is a $2.00 pantsuit made with two dollar bills.

Trains and a visit to Papa Dewey and Grandma Shirleys!
Evan yesterday and Evan 3 years ago!

We went out to visit my parents yesterday. The boys had fun watching all the trains go round and round.

Papa Dewey even let them drive the trains!

The boys in the cars last year. Alex really looks different from last year.
