End of October fun

Eric and I celebrated the 10th anniversary of our first date at Redstone! It's hard to believe it's been 10 years! Eric filled the iPad with a slideshow of picturesof our last 10 years! Friday the kids carved pumpkins so they are pretty mushy now! Saturday I ran the Monster Dash 10 mile. I've been battling heel pain so the race was pretty difficult, but I did it! Hopefully with some stretches I'll be over the pain soon. Sunday we took our last boat ride and wharf trip to Maynard's! We got to eat outside and it was beautiful! The boys and I made some Frankenstein cups out of pudding and Oreos!

More Fall fun!

Our friend Hera had two ponies come to her Birthday Party, so the boys got to ride ponies Turbo and BamBam! Alex was hesitant, but decided to at the last minute. We enjoyed what might be our last dinner out in the deck this season! The boys had some fun with Pokemon cards. Fun with leaves in the backyard too! Kwo Ue made a very colorful cake that had lots of layers and was delicious! Can you find Alex in the first leaf picture?

Miss Courtney pulled out his tooth on his birthday.  She has pulled other kids teeth, so I guess he trusted her.  Eric can be done being grossed out by him offering to show us how it wiggles all the time!  He's about to lose another one on the other side of his remaining front tooth!

 

Last Sunday the boys hang out playing iPad while we go for a cruise.

Nice leaf color.  It got even more vibrant as the week progressed, but we didn't know if this would be our last time out.

We got the boys to come out and watch a barge pull out boat lifts at Minnetonka Yacht Club.

This guys legs were exposed, so I'm guessing he was a little chilly!

It looks so sad without all the docks and people.  There were some diehards there..soon to be us!

We had to stop at the island for a bit!

Alex is wearing two jackets...I was wearing three!  The wind was really strong.  We should've got out the kite!

Evan opened his presents from us before school on his real birthday!

He decided to go to Big Thrill Factory instead of Chuck E Cheese's this year.  It was a nice night to jump on the trampoline outside.  They also have a huge inflatable slide outside and bumper cars inside and some other fun activities.

I don't think he'll be small enough to lay like this much longer:-)
