Today we took Evan to the
play land at
Ridgedale. He had fun looking at Daddy through the Tic
Tac Toe board.
He had fun going down the slide. The slide is pretty short, so I couldn't get a good picture of him coming down the slide. This is the 2
nd time we've brought him to the
play land and he has finally figured out that he needs to go climb up the stairs after he goes down the slide. He was always trying to climb up the slide right after going down.
You can't see through the windshield on this car, so you have to stand up on the seat. We really have to watch Evan when we are at the
play land, because there are some pretty big kids that are a few inches above what they should be to enter the
play land. I think they need to have the
play land police come through once an hour and kick out the kids that are 9+ and running up the slides almost stepping on our baby. If you can run up the slide you are too big to be in the
play land(get out)!
Grandma Gay got Evan another Elmo balloon.
Everyday we have to get it down for him so he can walk around with it.

Evan always wants us to pick him up so he can look out the window. We have lots of beautiful
Cardinals in the bushes next to the house that visit our bird feeder.
Last weekend we visited Great Grandma and Evan was fascinated by this grabber tool used to pick stuff up off the ground. He couldn't pull the handle to grab anything, but he had fun walking around with it. I told her I need one of these to pick up all his toys, because it is difficult with my pregnant belly to bend over all the time:-)
