9:49 - Surgery started
10:20 - On heart bypass
11:55 - Repair complete and off bypass
12:45 - Cardiac Surgeon visited us and let us know it went very well
1:25 - Got to see him in the ICU.
The pictures look like something out of a movie. However, he's doing extremely well and has his own nurse. He'll be in the ICU until he's off the respirator. He's sedated and is being given pain medicine to keep him comfortable. Hopefully, he'll move upstairs sometime tomorrow or Friday. Thank you to everyone for your prayers and well wishes. It's hard to smile when he's hooked up to everything. However, he has the best care in the world right now.

I'm so glad to hear that the surgery went well! Hope the rest of his recovery is just as successful.
It's tough to see a baby like this. May God give you strength and patience to make it through this. I have been praying for you today. Thanks for sharing your updates!
