Streetcars running along Fisherman's Wharf. We took one of these the other night to get to Palomino.
Before we headed out of San Francisco we went to check out The Painted Ladies. "Painted ladies" is a term used for Victorian and Edwardian houses and buildings painted in three or more colors that embellish or enhance their architectural details. The term was first used for San Francisco Victorian houses by writers Elizabeth Pomada and Michael Larsen in their 1978 book Painted Ladies - San Francisco's Resplendent Victorians. This group of houses is easily photographed because there is a park across the street that has a large hill where we stood for this picture. You can see a nice view of San Francisco in the background.
At one of the wineries this little lizard came out to say hello:-)
We visited one of our favorite wineries Louis Martini!
Vineyards in Napa. Hard to imagine these plants produce grapes that are made into bottles of wine.
