Evan and Alex Visit the Science Museum with Dad for Spring Break

Last week, the boys had spring break. So, I took a couple days off and we spent one of those days at the Science Museum.  The theme at their school this year is "Out of this World".  Since there was a space exhibit and an IMAX movie about space, I thought it would be a great idea.  Here are some pictures of our fun!

Musical stairs.  Each stair you step on is a different note!

A cool water display with shapes made from bubbles in the different tubes.
A view out of the tugboat that's up on the roof.  No ice on the Mighty Mississippi!
You'd think it would be be busier.  Good thing we got there early.  It did get a lot busier later in the day.
Evan using the tugboat simulator.  It's more difficult than it looks.

Really tall space suit in the main atrium.  I think it's over 50' tall!

Evan and Alex launching rockets in the special space exhibit.  You have to get the right amount of water and compressed air in the spaceship to get it all the way to the top.

Two future astronauts!

They had a "playscape" there that was made completely out of cellophane and packaging tape (from 3M, of course).  They played on it for over 30 minutes.

Alex and his favorite dinosaur.
The helm of the tugboat that they have on the roof.

When we were done at the Science Museum, we walked over to Denise's office and said hi to her and her coworkers (sorry, I forgot to take pictures).
