Alex is becoming a Big Boy!

About a month ago Alex started sitting on the frog potty when getting his diaper changed. A couple weeks ago he actually went potty! I started giving him books to look at which keeps him there longer than the 20 seconds he would stay! He loves his Dora books. We are very proud of him!! ...and his most exciting part about going potty in the froggy potty is getting to flush it down the toilet. He enjoys getting an M&M too! Keep it up Little Man! Mommy would love two potty trained kids!

I came around the corner the other day to find him sitting in the laundry basket reading his books!

The boys are watching Eric snow blow the driveway. Evan really wanted to be outside to help, but Eric made him stay inside.

Alex was playing with the Easter Thomas train. One of the cars has Easter eggs on it and you can press them and it chirps like a bird. He loves to make them chirp over and over.

Eric helps Evan use Mega Blocks to create a train bridge for his trains to go under.

He puts his blanket over the bridge and says the trains are resting. They were tired(he said).

JUMP JUMP JUMP Alex!

Alex started gymnastics on Saturday. Eric was planning to go in with him, but right before we left Eric was sweeping the garage and the broom handle broke and cut up his hand. Alex enjoyed doing most of the activities, but had little patience to sit and listen for direction from his teacher. Hopefully, that should come with time. I'll send Eric in there with him next week to see how he does.

The boys big thing lately is who gets to push the button to open or close the garage door. We'll pull in the garage after we get home from daycare and Alex will yell out..."I push the button ..I push the button"! Same holds true for shutting off the TV. When driving around town their favorite thing is to look for School Buses. Alex will yell "A School Bus Mommy ...A School Bus Mommy"...until I say "Yes, Alex I saw it"!

This has been a very long winter for me as I have had a few 2+ hour commutes home with all the snowstorms we have had. I am allowed to work from home sometimes which is so wonderful! We can't wait for the ice to go out on the lake, so we can get out on the boat. The boys are getting so big and will really enjoy going to the island this summer.

Eric and I will celebrate our 5th Wedding anniversary in May and are looking forward to going back to San Francisco/Napa Valley for a week. I mentioned it to Evan the other day and he asked if he was going to go on vacation? I told him his vacation was spending time with his grandma's and pappa's while we are gone:-)

The boys favorite new food....Kiwi! I picked up some last night at Lund's and Evan said he wanted some and then when I cut them up he turned up his nose and said it was yucky. Alex was chowing away on them, so Evan finally tried it and before we knew it they were gone! Evan noticed there was only one more on the counter tonight and I think he got worried!
