Turtles and a whole lot of fun!

We spotted another turtle.  This one had a soft shell and a really long neck.  Different from the snapping turtle we saw last week.

This turtle started to lay her eggs and kicked sand at the kids which they thought was pretty funny!  We tried to spread our scent around the place where she laid her eggs in this sand pile.

Sad to report the eggs from last week got dug up by some raccoon or fox.

They had some games for kids at the island on Sunday.  Kids had a great time doing this water balloon game.  The little ones couldn't really catch the balloons, so they would splat at their feet and laugh!

Alex had some fun splashing with Eric!  He is a fish!  Evan is thinking about those turtles and fish in the water and decides not to get in the water!

Monday we headed to Lord Fletcher's at 11:00 for Manic Monday!  They have a deal for 4.00 burgers and 1.75 Miller beverages.  We got their early enough that we didn't have problems getting a table.  We are very excited they brought back Tater tots this year!  YUM!

We got a spot up front too! 

What does a 3 year old like to do on a beautiful day on the boat?  Play with his trucks and tractors in the cabin of course!  He doesn't know what he's missing!  He is spending more time up top this summer with his life jacket and not minding it.
