| Friday night the kids were in the hot tub with Eric and Alex banged his chin and cut it open. It didn't bleed very much, but it needed stitches so we made a trip to Urgent Care. |

| They put some knumbing solution on it and we had to wait about 45 minutes before they could do the stitches, so we had some time to kill. They practiced using suringes to wash the cut. |

| The child life specialist brought books and dinosaurs for the kids. She showed them what they were going to do to Alex on the dinosaurs and they each got to put a bandaid on a dinosaur. Alex didn't shed a tear while he was getting his stitches. He cried more at home when we were talking about going to the doctor. |

| The stitches. He had a busy weekend and one has already fallen out. He isn't bothered by them and has been acting normal. He only let me take this picture of his chin if I let him take a picture of my chin:-) |
